canopies for schools

Peaked roofs offer an anticlastic saddle-shaped roof shape which is tensioned and stabilised due to mechanically applied pre-stress along the plane of the membra. They are an attractive eye opener and are very popular in schools with high roofs or in free-standing positions.

Apex roofs offer a more traditional design of roof shape using aluminium as a roof truss providing support. Fitting in well with the typical roof shape environment they can be unobtrusive where required.

Domed roofs offer a synclastic roof shape that is tensioned by mechanically applied pre-stress that is perpendicular to the membrane surface. They are very popular with schools with flat roof lines.
